Returns & Refund Policy

At Gift Crate, we take pride in delivering high-quality, handcrafted gift crates packed with care. If you experience any issues with your order, please review our policy below.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, we are happy to provide a replacement. Please follow these steps:

  1. Contact us at hello@giftcrate.co.nz within 48 hours of receiving your order.
  2. Include clear photos of the damaged item(s) and packaging in your email.
  3. Once we review your claim, we will arrange for a replacement to be sent as soon as possible.

Change of Mind

Due to the nature of our products, we do not offer refunds or exchanges if you change your mind or select the wrong product.

Preferred Delivery Dates: If you’ve chosen a preferred delivery date, we’ll do our best to deliver on that date, provided it aligns with the shipping schedule above. We do not offer same day shipping. North Island deliveries are normally next day and South Island are 2 days. Please add an extra 3 days for rural delivery. As we are reliant on the couriers these are suggested timeframes and not guaranteed.  Please note we do not provide refunds for delivery delays due to couriers not delivering on time.  

Consumer Guarantees Act

Gift Crate complies with New Zealand Law and the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA). This means:

  • If a product is faulty or does not meet the guarantees outlined in the CGA, we will provide a  replacement, or refund as required by law.
  • This does not apply to damage caused by misuse or normal wear and tear.
